
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His breakthrough role was as Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in the television series Magnum. (1980-1988) and for which he was nominated 5 times for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in a Drama Series. He won in 1985. From 2010 until 2010 Selleck was the New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. Since 2005, he has played the role of Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in the small-town New York City. Also, he's played in nine television films based on Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also played the part of Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (90).
